Our school
Local roots, ambitious learning
Parling began as a carefully researched education project in 2009. After finding and designing our school in 2013, we opened in January 2014 with 30 students and two teachers. Since then, our team has supported more than 6000 learners in the neighbourhood.
Explore our schoolOur history
We began researching and planning our language school. Over the next five years we explored the teaching systems, technology, environmental impact and ethics we wanted at the heart of the project.
After more than a year of searching, we found a site that met our requirements and began designing Parling with a talented team of architects. Natural light, energy efficiency and a reduced carbon footprint guided the design.
Construction began in November 2013. After several months of dedicated work by the engineering team, Parling Language School was ready to start helping the world learn.
We opened with 30 students and two teachers. Parling has since become a leading language school in the neighbourhood, with our team now supporting more than 400 active students and over 6000 learners to date.

Renewable electricity, efficient equipment, LED lighting, digital teaching, recycled paper, refillable materials, responsible waste sorting and classroom plants all form part of how we work.
